What is the SSC CGL eligibility height requirement?
There is no single height requirement for all SSC CGL posts. The requirement depends on the post, sex and applicable concessions. Use Annexures XV–XVI for the exact Inspector, SI or BRO standard; a requirement for one post must not be applied to every post.
Do all SSC CGL posts require a physical test?
No. Additional physical or medical requirements apply to specified posts, including certain Inspector, Sub-Inspector and BRO roles. Read Annexures XV–XVI of the official notice for the particular post.

The notice identifies additional physical or medical conditions for CBIC Inspector (Central Excise, Preventive Officer, Examiner), CBN Inspector and Sub-Inspector, NCB SI/JIO, CBI SI, NIA SI and BRO posts. Read Annexures XV and XVI, including the applicable categories, measurement rules and tests.
